Legacy Type: Venue

The Vienna State Opera was one of the first buildings to be built on the famous Ringstraße, between 1861 and 1869 in a neo-romantic style. The State Opera offers room for 2276 spectators and it's stage is one of the largest in Europe.
Make sure to visit Moritz von Schwind’s precious Magic Flute cycle in the loggia and compare the paintings with today’s stage outfits!
