Las Robertas

Based in San José, Costa Rica, Las Robertas are Fabrizio Durán (Drums), Mercedes Oller (Guitar-Vox) and Sonya Carmona (Bass-Vox). Maintaining a distorted garage psych pop sound, their latest album 'Waves of the New' was released in May 2017. The band toured South America, the USA and Europe with appearances at Primavera Sound, SXSW, Festival NRMAL, Rock al Parque, All My Friends, Levitation Austin, Ruido Fest, they did a KEXP session and shared stage with bands like Echo & The Bunnymen, Pearl Jam, Warpaint, Flaming Lips, Primal Scream and many more. The band got press coverage by Gorilla vs Bear, Pitchfork, Impose Magzine, DIY mag, Paste magazine, Hipster Runoff and NPR.
