The European Association for Southeast Asian Studies (EuroSEAS) will hold its 8th conference from 11 to 14 August 2015 in Vienna. Accompanying the EuroSEAS-conference a daily film programme of documentaries from and about Southeast Asia will take place in the main auditorium (“Audimax”) of the University of Vienna.

The screenings focus on Indonesia (Wednesday), Thailand (Thursday), and Myanmar/Burma (Friday). The programme will also provide a forum for the presentation of recent initiatives from and in these countries, like the “Yangon Film School” (Myanmar) and the “International People’s Tribunal 1965” (Indonesia).
