STONE COLD MURDER

Robert and Olivia Chappell, recently married, have bought a cosy little country hotel in the Lake District and intend to enjoy their first break after an unexpectedly successful autumn season. But the snug evening in front of the fireplace with a winter storm howling outside is abruptly interrupted by the arrival of a hiker who has got caught up in the weather. Olivia is instantly suspicious of the stranger who begs them to put him up for the night. Yet she is not taken seriously by her husband who questions her instincts, aware of her constant nervous disposition. In fact their reason for moving into the “middle of nowhere” in the first place was Olivia’s deep rooted fear of her ex-boyfriend Sam Stone ever finding her. In spite of Robert’s care and concerned probing, she still hasn’t confided in him about her past. But tonight, her worst nightmares are going to come true as a grim fight for survival begins, shedding a very different light on all those involved.
