TESSERACTbegan life as a solo project in a dark, cluttered room inhabited by Acle Kahney. With the initial idea to create music with no boundaries, except that it must move you and make you want to groove, embrace and enhance you; giving you what you think you want and then taking you somewhere totally unexpected. Like the namesake novel (though not connected) and ideas surrounding the tesseract, the band creates ripples of musical realities and unseen (or in this case unheard of) sonic dimensions.Beginning in the virtual world of the studio in a box, by utilising the possibilities of modern technology, TesseracT are able to bring the dark and dense multi faceted sound of their recordings to the stage uncompromised and in full. Combining a highly energetic exciting sound with the symphony of audio elements has given TesseracT a reputation as outstanding and unbelievable act in the flesh. The band is: Acle Kahney and James Montieth - Guitars; Abisola Obasanya - Vocals; Jay Postones -Drums; Amos Williams - Bass and vocals; and of course the ever growing rack of pcb's, leads and cpu's known perhaps ominously as HAAL. Since the formation of the live band, the music has evolved into a more visceral and entrancing being. Sung through the voices of each individual, it has a less mechanical vibe as is often the case with music from similar origin, and more of a human quality than you would expect. Like actors performing from a script the already expansive and unique parts are given a character and life that only musicians with passion can add.The band as it is now formed just under a couple of years ago through meeting at gigs and keeping in touch with each other over the net.JINJERis a Ukrainian female fronted band which plays a mixture of progressive metalcore and groove metal, with some inlays of funk, reggae and jazz, though on their second LP the band shifted a bit to death metal of the European school. JINJER were formed in 2010, when Tatiana Shmailyuk joined the guys as a vocalist. In 2013, the band were acknowledged as the best metal band of the year in Ukraine.
JINJER are often mistakenly compared to Iwrestledabearonce, Straight Line Stitch, Arch Enemy, etc. Which is completely wrong, as members of JINJER, being asked about their influences, always name such bands as Lamb of God, Pantera, Gojira, Killswitch Engage, Death, Chimaira, All Shall Perish, Protest the Hero. However, Tatiana says that she really appreciates Sandra from Guano Apes and Shamaya from Otep for being her biggest inspirations as a female metal vocalist. She also mentions Mikael Åkerfeldt from Opeth and Randy Blythe from LOG.
In April 2014 JINJER released their second LP – CLOUD FACTORY. The album is devoted to the devastating effect of the heavy industry and global businesses on the environment, nature and average people's lives.
To support CLOUD FACTORY album the band went on a long European tour in April-May 2014 around Poland, Germany, Czech, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Russia. JINJER have shared the stage with TIAMAT, PAIN, CALIBAN, EKTOMORF, CLAWFINGER, EVENASCENCE, RASMUS, KATAKLYSM, BLESS THE FALL, etc. Over three years of touring JINJER have played more than 300 shows around the European Union, Russia and Ukraine. The band is a common participant of many top open-air festivals in Ukraine and the EU.INFECTED RAIN A combination of female screaming, hard riffs and samples created the individual style of Infected Rain. Over the next 2 years the band appeared in several concerts in Moldova, Romania and the Ukraine. Infected Rain took 1st place at the Big Up! Urban Fest in 2009 and continued the stream of its successful performances at the Forest Kap in 2010 and 2011. After that the band went on a tour in Romania to support the album. In January 2012 the band released its second music video for the song At the Bottom of the Bottle and shortly after that performed at the Metal Special Fest as a headliner. In June, the band played at OST fest 2012 in Bucharest on the same stage with Dimmu Borgir and Motley Crue. Shortly after that they released a new music video for the song Me Against You, collaborating with Moldova Extreme Moto Cross. Then on March 8th, a music video for the single Stop Waiting came out. In the autumn of 2013 the band toured Romania, Russia, Ukraine and Bulgaria as their first big tour. May 15th of 2014 the band released the second album called "Embrace Eternity". Later, in September and October was their big European tour in which they visited 12 countries. January of 2015 was marked with the release of 2 more music videos for the album "Embrace Eternity". At the same time the band never stopped concurring new countries and headlining big festivals in Europe. 2016 started with the release of their new music video for the single Serendipity that gave a start to a new, heavier era for Infected Rain. Serendipity and 3 other singles that the band released with the beginning of 2017 are part of the third album called “86” that was released April 20th 2017.
The band consists of five members: two guitars, female vocal, bass and drums, the combination of all members music preferences always leaves room for development and creation of a new style.
